The American Accounting Association ("AAA") is a great source for accounting research. AAA publishes one of the top accounting research journals, The Accounting Review. In addition to The Accounting Review, AAA publishes Issues in Accounting Education, Accounting Horizons, and AUDITING: A Journal of Practice and Theory.
AAA offers a electronic subscription service that will send e-mail alerts to you when the table of contents for AAA journals are released. With the Table of Contents notifications, you can access and download research papers included in the journal.
To start your subscription, go to www.aaapubs.org. Click on the "Register for Free Contents Alerts" icon. You can select your journal(s) of interest and complete registration. Voila! Research at your fingertips at no cost.
