Research - Reading Academic Research
Okay, you have printed a ton of research articles and have no clue how to start. Check out BYU's What is Accounting Research? webpage on the PhDPrep Website: http://www.byuaccounting.net/mediawiki/index.php?title=What_is_accounting_research%3F .
In the Skills necessary to be a successful researcher section, there are helpful tools and techniques for developing your research style. The paper entitled, Reading and Understanding Academic Research in Accounting: A Guide for Students, authored by Teresa P. Gordon and Jason C. Porter , is an excellent resource. Thanks DP for sharing.
