Research - How to Read Greek...

During my visits to PhD Programs, I was able to visit doctoral accounting research seminars.  Visiting the seminars is key to understanding how learning occurs at the doctoral level.  I had a blast.

The "down side" is that these seminars require a significant amount of reading.  Some of which is very similar to Greek.  Ha!

Check out this article that gives an overview of how to read accounting academic research.

Summer Madness - The Start of the Admissions Process

After deep contemplation, I have decided to move forward with my goal of Fall 2012 admission to a PhD program.  The madness has officially started.  Who knew how many links there were to fill out an application?  Do I really need to send copies of the application to the Graduate School and the Business School?  Who is this dude named FAFSA?  Would it be inappropriate to write my own letter of recommendation?

Just a few funnies to start the madness.  I will keep you posted on the journey.
